I have to start here, because this was the best decision I ever made.

My kids, Rosebud and Alonzo, started performing early.

Alonzo has grown into a great picker in his own right, and I'm very proud of him.

These guys gave me my first break. I played fiddle in their squaredance band. I have fond memories of playing with them.

In 2003, I was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Western Kentucky University during their commencement exercises. This was taken at the campus.

My daughter Rosie loves to sing, and she does it so well, it makes me proud.
I'm glad my kids don't mind being on stage with an old man like myself. |
